It's been just over a year since Kerby Jean-Raymond joined Reebok as the label's global creative director, and now the designer is stepping down from his position.

In a statement by Reebok, it is revealed that Kerby's last day in the role will be March 1, 2022, with the final offering from Reebok by Pyer Moss rolling out later that month.

"I enjoyed my time with Reebok and wish the company well in all of its future endeavors," the designer stated.

Jean-Raymond first collaborated with Reebok back in 2017, and the two have since joined forces plenty of times, creating both memorable sneakers as well as apparel collections. "The positive impact he has made on the brand will be felt for years to come. We wish him the very best," said Matt O'Toole, Reebok's President.

"We want to sincerely thank Kerby for his many contributions to Reebok."

It remains to see what Kerby will do next, but we're sure it will be big. Plenty of labels followed Reebok's footsteps in appointing cultural leaders in key roles, including New Balance with Teddy Santis, and most recently Bally with Rhuigi, tapping into both the fashion and streetwear world in order to appeal to a new audience. Undoubtedly, we'll be keeping a close eye on Kerby's next move.

Reebok has yet to reveal whether they'll be replacing Kerby's role as global creative director anytime soon.
